Our immediate objective is to suspend the auction while we meet with the City and propose financial partnering with them to keep the mounted patrol unit. We would like a time extension to build a non-profit foundation with which we could partner with the City and Police Department in keeping something that is both historical and practical, and important to the City of San Diego and its citizens.
